The 67th edition of the Miss World pageant took place on November 18, 2017, at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. Among 118 contestants from across the globe, Manushi Chhillar, representing India, emerged victorious.
Manushi’s win was historic—she became the sixth Indian to claim the Miss World crown, following in the footsteps of legends like Reita Faria (1966) and Priyanka Chopra (2000). Her journey to the crown was fueled by not only her beauty but also her intelligence, poise, and commitment to social causes.

Manushi’s achievements go beyond the pageant stage. Born on May 14, 1997, in Haryana, she grew up in a family of doctors. A medical student herself, she is currently pursuing MBBS at Bhagat Phool Singh Government College for Women, Sonipat.
