Day 1: The Riverwood Forest Retreat - Pench
Morning
- Arrival from Mumbai/ Delhi by flight to Nagpur.
- Pick up from Nagpur Airport at 9 am and travel to Pench National Park by road.
- Arrive by mid-day (if Arrival time is in the morning), check in to the resort and have a hot lunch at the ‘The Deck’ restaurant.
Evening
- Night Patrolling in the Wolf sanctuary that is part of the Buffer Zone from 6pm-9pm in a open top 4X4 Gypsy to experience the park at night.
- Dinner at ‘The Deck’ restaurant.
Day 2
Morning
- Head for an early morning safari to Pench National Park by a 4X4 Gypsy jeep. Guests could see a variety of wildlife like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambhar, Blue Bull, Wild Boar, etc during the drive past the sweet water pond and the water-hole.
- A packed Breakfast will be served in the park at a designated spot.
Relax followed by Lunch
Afternoon
- Depart for Khoka dam, which is located on the fringes of Pench. Khoka attracts a large variety of bird species in winter and animals during summer.
- Tea/Coffee and snacks will be served during the trip. Leave for the resort post sunset.
Evening
- Relax at the Vankasa Spa (optional & chargeable).
- Dinner at 'The Deck' restaurant.
Day 3
Morning
- Morning Safari at Pench National Park in a 4X4 Gypsy. A packed Breakfast will be served in the park at a designated spot.
Relax followed by Lunch
Afternoon
- A visit to the nearby Pachdhar village, which is home to the traditional potter community known as “Kumhaars”. There are over 100 households making earthenware and clay pots in the village.
- Hi-tea and light snacks will be served upon the return to the resort.
Evening
- Dinner at 'The Deck' restaurant.
Day 4
Morning
- Head for an early morning safari to Pench National Park by a 4X4 Gypsy jeep. Guests could see a variety of wildlife like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambhar, Blue Bull, Wild Boar, etc during the drive past the sweet water pond and the water-hole. Breakfast will be served at ‘The Deck’ Restaurant.
- After an early lunch, guests will be transported to their next destination Kanha National Park.
Drive to Kanha is approximately 4.5 to 5 hours. On arrival the Resort check-in and evening at leisure.

Day 5: The Riverwood Forest Retreat - Kanha
Morning
- Head for an early morning safari to Kanha National Park by a 4X4 Gypsy jeep. Guests could see a variety of wildlife like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambhar, Sloth bear, Spotted dear, Gaur, Leopard etc during the safari.
- A packed breakfast will be served in the park.
Afternoon
- Lunch in the afternoon at Tilao.
Evening
- Depart for Sundowner (4.00 pm to 6.00 pm) at Gidhi Gogra.
- Tea/Coffee and snacks will be served during the trip. Leave for the resort post sunset.
- Relax at the resort.
- Dinner at ‘The Tilao’ restaurant.
Day 6
Morning
- Nature Walk in the Buffer Zone with our in-house naturalist for Birdwatching. The duration of the walk is approximately 2 hours.
- After returning from Natural trail, breakfast will be served at The Deck.
Afternoon
- Enjoy lunch at ‘The Tilao’ Restaurant.
- Head for an afternoon safari to Kanha National Park by a 4X4 Gypsy jeep. Guests could see a variety of wildlife like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambhar, Sloth bear, Spotted dear, Gaur, Leopard etc during the safari.
Evening
- Tea/Coffee and snacks will be served in the resort.
- Relax at the resort.
- Dinner at ‘The Tilao’ restaurant.
Day 7
Morning
- Head for an early morning safari to Kanha National Park by a 4X4 Gypsy jeep. Guests could see a variety of wildlife like the Royal Bengal Tiger, Sambhar, Sloth bear, Spotted dear, Gaur, Leopard etc during the safari.
- A packed Breakfast will be served in the park. After coming back to the resort, guests will be transported to their next destination Kolkata.
After reaching Kolkata, Overnight stay in Kolkata then travel to Sunderbans.
Day 8
Morning
- Pick up from the preferred location mentioned by the guest (Hotel/Airport/Railway Station).
- Travel by boat to Waxpol Ghat, from where guests will be escorted to the Sunderban Tiger Camp.
- Optional Stopover at ‘Gosaba’, one of the earliest human settlements in the Sundarbans.
- Check-in followed by lunch at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant.
- Post lunch, guests can either relax in their room or walk around the resort.
Afternoon
- Depart for a visit to the ‘Adibasi village’ at Dayapur Island. Guest can walk through this village to observe and get a sense of their lifestyle, local crafts, cuisines, and marvel as how local villagers and tigers coexist in a difficult terrain.
Evening
- Around sunset, return to the resort for hi-tea and snacks.
- Sit around the bonfire (winters only) and view the Adibasi dance, a performance by aboriginal natives of Sundarbans.
- Dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant.
- Guests can relax at the Gol Ghar bar or call it a night.
Day 9
Morning & Afternoon
- Embark on the morning boat safari to Dobanke Watch Tower. Breakfast will be served on the boat.
- Lunch will be served on board.
Evening
- Around sunset, return to the resort for hi-tea and snacks.
- Watch a Wildlife movie.
- Dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf restaurant.
- Guests can relax at the Gol Ghar bar or call it a night.
Day 10
Morning
- Embark on the morning boat safari to Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. Breakfast will be served on the boat.
- Return to the resort before noon. Enjoy an early lunch and depart for Kolkata. You will be transferred to your preferred drop-off point (Hotel/Airport/Railway station).
