‘The Riverwood Forest Retreat- Dooars’ would like to welcome you on a journey to the land of the tea, forests and trekking. The name Dooars (Doors) is derived from the several passes that lead from the region into the Lesser Himalayas.
 

Day 1

Morning
  • Pickup from Siliguri (Hotel/Airport/Railway Station) and travel by road to The Riverwood Forest Retreat-Dooars.
Afternoon
  • Refreshments will be served upon arrival. Check-in to the room, followed by Lunch.
Evening
  • Visit to the nearby village to understand the local culture and see the way of life for the locals.
  • Dinner at ‘The Hideaway’ in house restaurant.
  • Guests have the option of enjoying a drink at the Hornbill Bar or retire for the night.

Day 2

Morning
  • Enjoy a hot cup of tea and breakfast before departing for the morning safari in the ‘Gorumara National Park’.
  • Drive through the park in a jeep with a stop at the watchtower to view the different species of wildlife that visit the sweet water pond/salt lick.
  • Upon returning to the resort, guests can have an early lunch prior to departing for their next destination (Hotel/Airport/Railway Station).
Inclusion:
  • 1-night Accommodation at ‘The Riverwood Forest Retreats- Dooars’.
  • Pick up and drop from/to Bagdogra/NJP Railway/Siliguri (The vehicle can accommodate upto 4 pax)
  • 1 Jungle Safari in the ‘Gorumara National Park (The vehicle is for 6 pax our recommendation is to accommodate 4 pax)
  • 1 Village visit.
  • Meals: 1 Breakfast + 1 Lunch + 1 Dinner
  • Service of Trained Local Guide.
Note: The second lunch will be paid at the resort on actuals.
 
Exclusion:
  • Fees for Video and Still Camera.
  • A-la-carte orders.
  • All expenses of personal nature- additional meals, en route meals, etc.
  • Soft Beverages, Mineral Water and Alcoholic Drinks.
  • Other activities undertaken at special request, which are not mentioned in the tariff.
  • Insurance: Emergency medical cover and travel insurance, it is advised that before you travel to India, you must subscribe to comprehensive travel insurance covering personal effects, personal accident, medical exigencies, emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment.
  • Gratuity for the staff and guide.
